Spring 2023 Schedule

Spring Session Dates: Sunday, March 26th – Saturday, April 29th

The Spring 2023 Session schedule is below. All sessions will be held at VFW Rink 1, except April 26, 27, and 29 will be at CIC. Deadline to register for group lessons is Saturday, March 25th, at 11:59 pm.

Spring 2023 Group Lessons:

SUNDAYS 

March 26, April 2, 16, 23 – All classes will be held at VFW Rink 1

No Skate Days: April 9

Snowplow 1-4 and Basic 1:   5:00-5:30 pm Lesson Time

 

Basic 2-6:   5:30-6:00 pm Lesson Time

 

Pre-Free Skate–Free Skate 6:   6:00-7:00 pm Lesson Time

 

Hockey Power Skating:

Termites: 5:00 – 5:30 pm

Mites: 5:30 – 6:00 pm

 

THURSDAYS 

March 30, April 13, 20, 27 – All classes will be held at VFW Rink 1 (April 27th will be held at CIC)

No Skate Days: April 6

Snowplow 1-4 and Basic 1:   6:30-7:00 pm Lesson Time

 

Basic 2-6:   7:00-7:30 pm Lesson Time

 

Pre-Free Skate–Free Skate 6:   7:30-8:30 pm Lesson Time

Spring 2023 LTS Private Lessons:

Learn to Skate private lessons 

These Learn to Skate private lessons are for LTS skaters at all test levels. Skaters must be registered in group lessons to be able to register for private lessons. All skaters must have a private coach and approval from that coach to sign up for these lessons, and they must pay for the ice time AND their coach’s fees. If you need a private coach, contact Emily Zahn, LTS and Advanced director, bfscdirector@gmail.

Wednesdays

April 5, 12, 19, 26  – All sessions will be held at VFW Rink 1 (April 26th will be at CIC)

Session 1 – 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Session 2 – 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

 

Saturdays

April 1, 15, 22, 29  – All sessions will be held at VFW Rink 1 (April 29th will be at CIC)

Session 1 – 8:00 – 9:00 am

The objectives of the Learn to Skate Program are: to provide a fun and safe skating experience; to teach correct techniques of the basic elements of skating; to develop a finer degree of coordination and balance; to promote physical fitness; and to have fun! Fees for Spring Session:

Snowplow 1-4 and Basic 1:

1x/week: $30 for 4 sessions
2x/week: $60 for 8 sessions

Basic 2-6:

1x/week: $60 for 4 sessions
2x/week: $100 for 8 sessions

Pre-Free Skate–Free Skate 6:

1x/week: $85 for 4 sessions
2x/week: $115 for 8 sessions

Hockey Termites/ Mites:

1x/week: $50

Private Lesson Ice Fee:

Wednesday nights: $45 for 4 sessions

Saturday mornings: $45 for 4 sessions
