Winter 2 2021 Schedule

Winter 2 Session Dates: Sunday, January 10th – Thursday, February 25th

The Winter 2 Session schedule is below. Sunday will be held at VFW Sports Center Rink 1 and Thursdays will be held at Capital Ice Comples. Deadline to register for group lessons is Wednesday, January 6th, at 11:59 pm.

Winter 2 Group Lessons:

SUNDAYS 

January 10, 17, 24, 31, February 14, 21  – VFW Sports Center Rink 1

No Skate Days: February 7

Snowplow 1-4 and Basic 1:   5:00-5:30 pm Lesson Time

 

Basic 2-6:   5:30-6:00 pm Lesson Time

 

Pre-Free Skate–Free Skate 6:   6:00-7:00 pm Lesson Time

 

Hockey Power Skating:

Termites: 5:30 – 6:00 pm

Mites: 6:00 – 6:30 pm

 

THURSDAYS 

January 14, 21, 28, February 4, 18, 25 – Capital Ice Complex

No Skate Days: February 11

Snowplow 1-4 and Basic 1:   6:30-7:00 pm Lesson Time

 

Basic 2-6:   7:00-7:30 pm Lesson Time

 

Pre-Free Skate–Free Skate 6:   7:30-8:30 pm Lesson Time

Winter 2 LTS Private Lessons:

Leran to Skate private lessons 

These Learn to Skate private lessons are for LTS skaters at all test levels. Skaters must be registered in group lessons to be able to register for priavte lessons. All skaters must have a private coach and approval from that coach to sign up for these lessons, and they must pay for the ice time AND their coach’s fees. If you need a private coach, contact Emily Zahn, LTS and Advanced director, bfscdirector@gmail.

Wednesdays

Session 1 – 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Session 2 – 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

 

Saturdays

January 9, 16, 23, February 6, 13, 20 – VFW Sports Center Rink 2

No Skate Days: January 30th

8:00 am – 8:45 am

The objectives of the Learn to Skate Program are: to provide a fun and safe skating experience; to teach correct techniques of the basic elements of skating; to develop a finer degree of coordination and balance; to promote physical fitness; and to have fun! Fees for 6 Classes:

Snowplow 1-4 and Basic 1:

1x/week: $45 for 6 sessions
2x/week: $75 for 12 sessions

Basic 2-6:

1x/week: $80 for 6 sessions
2x/week: $120 for 12 sessions

Pre-Free Skate–Free Skate 6:

1x/week: $100 for 6 sessions
2x/week: $140 for 12 sessions

Hockey Termites/ Mites:

1x/week: $80

Private Lesson Ice Fee:

Wednesday nights: $70 for 6 sessions

Saturday mornings: $55 for 6 sessions
