Learn to Skate vs. Advanced

Our skating lessons are divided into two programs – Learn to Skate and Advanced.

The Learn to Skate program, or LTS, teaches the basics of skating in a group setting. When skaters pass required skills through the LTS Snowplow, Basic Skills, and Free Skate levels, they can move into the Advanced Program.

In the Advanced program, skaters improve and advanced their skills with a private coach, learning independently. Contact us for more information about how our skating program works and where your skater should begin.

We also have a strong synchro program. Synchronized Figure Skating is a team sport in which 8-20 skaters perform a program together. It uses the same judging system as singles, pairs and dance and is characterized by teamwork, speed, intricate formations and challenging step sequences.
